TESTEMUNHOS

Jázmin Mokánszki

During my internship, I had an absolutely fantastic and fulfilling experience. Right from day one, I felt embraced and supported by everyone around me. The atmosphere at work was so inviting that it made showing up each day something I genuinely looked forward to.

What I valued the most was the diverse range of tasks I got to tackle. I dove into hands-on work with bookkeeping and inventory management, especially through auditing and cataloguing books. I also took on various administrative responsibilities and spent a lot of time using Microsoft Excel to organize and structure data. These experiences allowed me to bridge my theoretical knowledge with real-world applications, significantly boosting my data management, analytical, and digital skills.

I owe a huge thanks to my supervisor, Fernanda, who was incredibly professional, fair, and adaptable throughout my time there. Her guidance and understanding fostered a relaxed environment where I felt at ease learning and asking questions. Plus, the teachers and staff were always so kind, encouraging, and ready to lend a hand whenever I needed it.

All in all, this practical placement was a treasure trove of professional and personal growth. It really bolstered my confidence in administrative processes, which will surely serve me well in my future career as a financial-accounting administrator.

During our time in Portugal, we had the opportunity to gain new experiences, improve our professional skills and learn more about working in a different environment. We enjoyed getting to know the host school and discovering a little more about Portuguese culture and everyday life.

During our professional practice, we developed our computer skills, especially in using Excel to enter, organise and check data. We learned how to work with spreadsheets more accurately and how to keep information clear and organised. We also gained experience in handling library records, checking book information and taking part in inventory tasks. These activities helped us understand the importance of accuracy, attention to detail and responsibility in our daily work. We also learned how to identify and correct mistakes in records and why it is important to check information before saving or using it.

Besides these practical skills, we improved our ability to organise our work, follow instructions and complete tasks within the given time. We became more independent and confident when working on different assignments, while also learning how to cooperate with our classmates and help each other when needed. Working in a new environment taught us to be more flexible, patient and open to learning new methods. We also had the chance to practise English in real-life situations, which helped us improve our communication skills and feel more confident using a foreign language.

Overall, this experience helped us develop both professionally and personally. We gained useful knowledge that we can apply in our future studies and jobs, and we are glad that we had the opportunity to learn and work in Portugal.

I really enjoyed my time in Portugal during the Erasmus programme. Working in the school library was a useful experience, and I learned how to organize information, work with Excel, and complete inventory tasks carefully. The staff were helpful, and I had the opportunity to learn new things in a friendly environment. I also liked the school and enjoyed discovering how things work in a different country.

Portugal is a beautiful country with amazing places, friendly people, and a special atmosphere. This experience helped me improve my professional skills, become more independent, and learn more about a different culture.

I am grateful for this opportunity, and I will always remember the time I spent here.
