1ª Reunião presencial do Projeto Erasmus+ Historical Places Build relations
León – Espanha
The first time we heard about the Erasmus Programme was in our Geography class. We were told that it was a students’ mobility programme. It challenged the sharing of experiences, cultures, ways of thinking, among other aspects.
However, the programme itself has proved to be much more than that. Besides sharing memorable experiences, there was room to strengthen bonds with students from other countries, who despite having many different things from ours, basically, the way of seeing the world had so many similarities…
We left Braga on March 20th towards León, a Spanish city.… together with our hearts overflowing with joy and hands full of suitcases.
By the time we got there it was eleven o’clock at night. So, we went to our rooms to have some rest because the next day(s) we had to wake up early.
And so it was, on Monday 21st and on all the following days. We woke up early everyday, that is for sure! However, the delicious breakfast (full of fresh fruit, cakes, different types of bread, cheese/ham and comforting drinks) gave us energy to only work at school “Secundaria Padre Isla” but also to walk along the streets and explore the city.
It was a stunning week, full of experiences, long walks, typical food, traditional music, new and amazing people and of long nights spent chatting and laughing.
And now, all we have left is the feeling “saudade” and the will to repeat this fabulous adventure full of joy and knowledge.
